Truly Blessed
I am so very sorry for your loss Though not a brother, I lost someone I loved from the addiction we shared. It hurt, I hated that I couldn't get recovery into his brain, but I'm eternally grateful for MY recovery.
Keep doing what you need to do for you. For me? It was an honor to recover for my loved one. I "talk" to him, every now and then...I tell him "I'm going to tuck you into my heart, and let you see what recovery is all about" and then we take a ride down the road and note all there is to be grateful for.
Hugs and prayers,
Amy
