Thank you Mr. D, grateful for your tireless efforts.

Grateful for the old-timers and their no BS message.

Grateful for acceptance. Even though it is painful to say good-bye to my old doggy, it is better than dragging things out, hanging on, and wearing myself down. We are having a quiet last night here at home.

And grateful for family, friends, and the vet supporting my decision. I have been struggling with a lot of guilt and it helps to hear that others think having her put down is the right thing to do.

Thanks, Fandy, for the hug, too.
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful for my little sign on the wall that says "FAR OUT" (Fear, Anger, Resentment OUT).

Grateful for my little battery operated table top book light to help me see my keyboard on my laptop when I'm in a dark room.

Grateful to work on turning anger into productivity and acceptance because it was another eleven hours at work today and all I have control over right now is my attitude. And not letting those eleven ruin the whole 24 is my goal at the moment.

Grateful for the moist air when I walked the dog tonight. Nice and balmy and warm.

Grateful on the walk I spied a glowing electric wire down the street and called the fire department.

Grateful for popped corn chips and hummus i have at home because I had no dinner.

Grateful my beloved dog just brought me Mr Squeaker Monkey so we can play our game called: "Give Me My Monkey! It's My Mr Squeaker Monkey! Its not your Mr Squeaker Monkey! Give Me My Monkey!" (Yes, that is the name of the game. )
: )

Eddie, i'm so sorry, but we cant prolong their pain to keep us comfortable.
I've put down 2 dogs, 3 cats in the last 8 years....but they knew they were loved like children.

Grateful I can appreciate my life no matter how really screwed up it is now. I would not be able to see any hope if I were drinking.

Evening Grats,

Miss Z so sorry for your loss animals are such a part of our family but it should bring you comfort that there is no more pain in its life. Now you just have to deal with your pain & loss and hopefully since it appears you have a lot of support you will get through this amazingly.

Grateful Princess is sitting next to me sleeping away.

Grateful for the awesome kickboxing class I had tonight-it was great to just "forget" everything for an hour.....I'm sure I'll be feeling it tomorrow, but it doesn't matter

Grateful for a heartfelt text sent by one of my best mates-we appreciate each other so much, but seldom say so!

Grateful for another day of sobriety
