Grateful for labor laws. I believe my new boss is violating some and EQ is going to do some investigating.
Grateful for poor pooch, who after me having to work till 8:15 pm again, (third time this week), and leaving home at 8:15 am, finally lost it and pooped in the living room. He felt bad, the poor boy! He hates to mess in the house. He hung his little head. : (
Grateful for ibuprofen. I am sore.
Grateful for my new lower dose of med today. It will be an adjustment from the dose I've been on for many years but I want to halve it. Grateful as a result i felt no blood pressure issues today even though I was quite stressed.
Grateful to be off tomorrow.

Grateful for a long drive today, into the area where the recent hurricane hit...I could really see the power of the ocean as it flattened huge houses that were built on the beach, these were BIG mansions...now reduced to piles of rubble....the bay is too high on the other side and ruined those houses too. Glad the state police did not pull me over as they do random checks of everyone...the highway just opened 2 days ago.
Grateful to take my daughter's dog down to the beach today and see the calm ocean and surprised it was not too cold...glad he did not drag me around, he is a big strong male pitbull.

Grateful for the Women's Center and health insurance. I completed all three imaging tests today and by some miracle had no copay.
Grateful for some female bonding with the other two women waiting there. All our Mothers died of cancer. Grateful for feeling proud of our brave Mothers and for taking care of ourselves.
Grateful I push myself to keep going with all the things I've put off, despite the length of the list and sometimes wondering if it really matters.
Grateful for the barely imperceptible snow flurries and the interesting shadows that play outside at night.
Grateful for the Saturday night movies on public TV. Tonights film has beautiful Henry Mancini music. And a young exquisite Audrey Hepburn.Takes me back.

Grateful for EQ's post reminding me I need to get a Pap smear and breast exam. Seriously. My mom had breast cancer and my great grandmother died of uterine cancer.
And grateful for feeling MUCH better today, at least mentally/emotionally/spiritually, than I have in a month. Glad I processed my feelings, FELT them, and allowed them to pass. THe supportive feedback I got helped a lot, too.

Grateful that I slept almost all day. I must have needed the rest. Grateful for a snugly puppy who napped with me!

Grateful I figured out what the movie is. Shes not a very young Audrey but plays one in flashbacks. Its Two for the Road with Albert Finney.
Grateful for these 1967 films. And grateful for just even the memory of being little and in awe of the times I grew up in.
