6 Months.........
Hello all,
Just wanted to stop by & let you all know I have 6 months clean & sober today!!! I have gotten there by the way of a higher power whom I chose to call god, and the recovery program of AA. I go to meetings most everyday, sometimes still mulitiple meetings a day. I have a sponsor who has a sponsor & we talk often. I have a coffee commitment & am active in my home group. I don't believe showing up at meetings is enough, I have found it necessary to work the steps as outlined in the BB. While I can't say the olbsession is completely gone, don't know if it ever will be. I do know CHANGE is happening to me, and people around me are noticing it!!! I even had a fellow whom is struggling quite a bit, ask me if I would work with him!!!! WOW!! That is crazy. With the help of my sponsor I will work with him as a temporary sponsor. Well, thats it!
