Grateful that, although I've had some people behave badly toward me lately, I don't have to pretend it isn't happening.
Grateful I see and hear what is being done and said, rather than what I wish was being done or said.
Grateful that with sobriety I don't feel the need to make excuses for other peoples bad behavior anymore.
Grateful that I am not tethered to alcohol any longer.
Grateful I pushed myself today to get some things done before and after my social outing.
Grateful my dog barks loudly when he hears a noise.

I'm grateful for two things today.

First, I'm grateful that I finally read through AVRT and I think it will be another tool in my toolbox.

Second, I'm grateful to have found out that the initial diagnosis I got in November of liver disease was incorrect. The biopsy says my liver is NORMAL! I'm a little shocked as I was quite the binge drinker, but I'm very, very grateful to have been given yet another chance.

And of course, I'm terribly grateful for SR.

Good to have you back, Missy, and bearing good news, too!!

Grateful for about as much of a rest day as I can have what with all the for a bit.

Grateful that I am better able to see the connections between my physical symptoms and my emotions. I think the sore throat and throwing up I had yesterday was more about unresolved resentments than it was about a virus. Thank you, Power Greater, for the Steps which allow me awareness, surrender and growth!!

Love and hugs,
Eddie

every day, Grace....

Grateful to be here not out in the cold, grateful to still feel optimism and look forward to tomorrow morning.
Grateful I am not a self absorbed, sanctimonious idiot....recovery is more to me than blabbing about it daily, it's connecting with many different topics
Grateful to remember to keep my dental appointments and to floss (part of my NY resolutions), lol.
Grateful that i am reading the food labels...(to cut back on sugar).

Grateful my dog barks loudly when he hears a noise.

My dog, unlike yours, barks loudly when he thinks he hears a noise...

Today I'm grateful - again - for my doctor and his staff. They are wonderful caring people and I'm lucky to have them in my corner.

Grateful to Dee for helping me process stuff that in the past would've pushed me to drink.
Grateful I am not alone.
Grateful to understand I am no better or worse than anyone.
Grateful I can learn to tolerate frustration and embaressment.
Grateful I can learn to cultivate the humility necessary for a beginners mind.

(Least, hope you feel better soon. xoxo keep us posted.)

Grateful that although my son will be gone for 4 years
due to his choices..I am holding fast and hard to not
giving in to a breakdown this time around.

Grateful that I am overcoming talking about it.

Grateful that my home life has achieved harmony.

Grateful that I am working recovery to overcome fear.

Grateful that I come here and say it. A big achievement for me.

Tonight I'm grateful to be home, safe and sound, and that I ignored my urge to drink. I overate instead... but I didn't drink.
