Grateful I reached out to a friend today.
Grateful I didn't feel foolish about doing so.
Grateful to know that some days I am vulnerable and it's ok.

Is that why you smell OK?? teehee.

Grateful I don't worry so much about people thinking I'm nuts as I waltz about the neighborhood singing with the headphones on. "What other people think of me is none of my business," right?

And grateful I'm giving MYSELF lots of Christmas gifts, early. I'm finding myself feeling lonely and wistful living alone. I even miss the frequent visits from my dad that I found so frustrating last year. With no one else to do it, I'm treating myself WELL.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful I woke up last night before I drank in my dream.

Grateful that I caught my Dad home when I called him tonite. Grateful he put my Grandmom on the phone too.

Grateful that the dream I had last night of my Mom and I talking and planning a trip felt so real. It comforted me all day as it felt like I really got to "see" her and be with her which brought me great joy. What a rush to spend time with her again.

Grateful that instead of watching TV and stewing about work when I got home, I turned on the radio and rearranged the furniture in my bedroom and hung some art on the walls. I needed to feel like work stress doesn't ruin my off time.

Grateful for the grat threads to help me focus on what's important.
