Bedtime Gratitude-Part 33- All are welcome
So grateful for a restful weekend ahead not spent in bed due to alcohol.
Grateful for the chance to see my girls enjoy the Christmas light switch on.
Grateful for a loving, understanding husband and family.
Grateful I had the courage to say no today.
Geez I am just so grateful today for being sober I could go on and on........lol

Hey, hey, hey, it's Kevin!!! Hugs to you, sweet pea.
GRateful for keeping a pretty healthy balance between being flexible or spontaneous versus becoming downright impulsive. Glad I know to keep an eye on myself.
And glad my big lug middle "son" (i.e., cat) Klaus didn't hurt anyone at the vet today...GRanted, he was pre-medicated.
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful that a friend I love asked for advice about them quitting alcohol.
Grateful I was able to detach from some drama at work today.
Grateful that I get to babysit my Grandson tomorrow.
Grateful that the new organizational systems I have been able to create so far in the house are effective. In those rooms, I have a place for everything and so I am habitually putting things back. Very new for me. Now to the scarey rooms! Lol

Grateful for recovery.
Grateful I have enough money to pay the bills (and such) for this old house while I search for a driving job... I will have to sell the house, hand it over to the bank sometime in the future or win the lotto and buy the title back.
Grateful to understand; I should have moved out of this childhood home of mine ~20 years ago, and that I must except the change which is coming in my life.
Grateful for Serenity.

Hey again, Kev! I'm grateful I can change, too, and for the knowledge that just because I've always done something, doesn't mean I'm obligated to keep doing it. When I think about how past hobbies and habits helped me distance myself from life and other people, I can let them go.....
And grateful for forgiving myself for not going to the Mental Health Association Thanksgiving dinner. I just didn't want to, and now I know that's OK.
Love and hugs,
Eddie
