Grateful for a few texts back from nephew who lives in LI New York. They are hanging in there. Still no power. Downed tree situation makes driving near impossible even if gas were plentiful. Glad they are ok. Glad he has a lot of common sense. Glad he texts his old Aunt back. Ha.

Grateful I slept.

Grateful for Police and EMTs. Last night I came home to Police cars and ambulance blocking my drive. My neighbor's relative (staying with them) tried to hurt themselves. Grateful she was conscious.

Grateful that praying is always something I can do to help.

Grateful to exercise my right to vote on Tuesday.

Grateful for daylight savings time, so I have an extra hour this morning to enjoy feeling sober, healthy, and content.
