Bedtime Gratitude-Part 32 All are welcome
grateful i ran into a guy that came into the rooms with me almost 10 years ago,
he always told me dont do what i do,
and over the years, grateful that i didn't
he has been slipping and sliding for years, has cirrhosis, lost his family and more.
he came in tonight asking for help,
three of us offered him help after the meeting, our help was just not what he wanted, or wanted to hear.
grateful for surrender

Breaks your heart, doesn't it. I'm sorry you had to see that.
Grateful for a good second meeting with my new psychiatrist. It's amazing how well things go when I accept "good enough" and let go of my often unrealistic expectations.
And grateful to see the movie A Fish Called Wanda for the first time in probably decades. I needed the laughter.
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Thanks for the correction, Inda. Grateful to newby, then!
Even though I'm working this weekend I'm grateful that the week is almost over, and hope to get a little rest.

So, grateful for re-discovering the pleasure of an evening "spin around the block," even if it's on foot.
Also grateful for behaving myself in an actual face-to-face interaction with my dad. I did have the advantage of knowing I was about to see him and I said several prayers beforehand. Guess it worked, huh?
RZ, it's great to be ABLE to help, isn't it?
