Grateful for a new renter, and for a rental agency to deal with the headaches.

Grateful that I am learning to treat myself in a respectful and civilized fashion. And that I am learning that it is ok to expect others to treat me that way, too.

Grateful for the generousity of spirit of my family. Even though they drive me batty, they are always there for me.

Grateful for the good times, and the bad ones, too.

Grateful for surrender, letting go, turning things over, whatever you want to call it. Lately, I've been seeing what other people I enjoy being with want to do and going with that. It helps me get unstuck when I can't decide what to do.

And grateful for spending more time with my almost-ex sister-in-law. I like her a lot and the last few years I hadn't seen much of her.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

i'm so grateful that I do NOT have to jump up out of bed at 5am tomorrow, it's a holiday!

i'm grateful that i joined my BFF's family today for a birthday Bar-B-Q for her mom's birthday. i can't count how many times she visited my mama in the hospital, nursing home and helped me arrange parties at my house (both sober and when i was drinking)

i'm grateful that I get a day to putter around the house tomorrow and drink my coffee in bed if i want to.

i'm grateful for a nice talk with my brother today, he was making me so crazy, sending mixed messages.

Grateful for working with people that have many years sobriety. Talking to them while working has helped me tremendously.

I am grateful for my family, SR, a three day weekend and my new found appreciation for water.

Some days are just a pain... I havent been able to do much today because of pain. I used to drink to relieve pain but luckily now I know in a more mature way, that: 1) Life has good and bad days. Period. And that 2) I don't have to let the changing tide of mood or events define ME, and 3) drinking makes everything, and I mean absolutely everything, worse.

So Grateful that, I know, 100% know, that, that is the truth.

I am grateful for the SR community, the massive rainstorm showering down as my family retires to bed, and my sobriety at the end of day 4.

Grateful for my 5th day of sobriety.

Grateful to be clear-headed and not sick, and not regretting something stupid.

Grateful to the universe to put all the tools I need right in front of me.
