So grateful that I made the meeting I did tonight, was just awesome. The girl that lead man oh man did we share the same parts of the story. She was like the female version of me. Both in the restaurant business for the same time, lived in Boulder at the same time, and also San Fran.
It was wild, so afterward we talked and it was truly cool. So now we are both in Cleveland , and look forward to seeing her around.
Sleep well all.

grateful to have spent an evening surrounded by people drinking and not drinking. grateful to be not drinking...to enjoy myself... to go to bed without having the room spin followed by several rounds of throwing up and later passing out. I don't miss those days at all.
Grateful for the thunder & lightning that I'm now hearing which means some fresh rain. It was 109 on my front porch today & not much of a breeze. Grateful for a cozy bed to sleep in tonight & a cup of hot chocolate that will help me to relax.
Hang in there EXM6. Sorry you're having a tough time.

Grateful to know that when I want to make major decision without consulting with God/sponsor/professionals/my intuition, that's when I need to STOP and consult the most. I shared some stuff in my Anorexics and Bulimics Anonymous meeting today that my disease wanted me to keep to myself. I'm glad I've been around long enough to know better.
And grateful for a nice hike & some swimming/diving earlier in the day. My "Russian" was much admired.
L&H,
Eddie
