grateful for a bunch of things today
to be back from a short vacation and back on SR
to reap the rewards of sobriety, namely being able to function like a normal human being
to have food in the fridge and gas in the car
to be able to send my kids to a decent school
to live in a decent house
to be able to make ends meet financially
to appreciate and honor the people in my life
most grateful for the people on SR and especially the people on the gratitude threads...with your help I now have one year.

Grateful this morning to be heading to the doctor for a follow up and just glad I now see a doctor. 20 plus years drinking never went. Grateful for all big and small things sobriety brings daily.

EXM: That is great about Fiona Apple! She is fabulous and her latest work sounds so compelling. You deserve to go and you deserve such wonderful friends who send you! : )
Raindancer: Congrats on the one year!! I am happy for you!! That is also very inspiring to me.
I am grateful it is Thursday morning and for not having to go back to work until Monday.

I am so grateful that I am clean and sober, that God has blessed my journey and for my wonderful sober friends. I am super grateful for my wonderful family who now looks me in my eyes to tell me they love me and I am most grateful for being able to look in the mirror and be happy with what I see and to be able to actually sleep at night with a clear mind!

So many grats that I'm so grateful for all of us! Raindancer's one year! Inda going to the doctor to stay well (I hear ya on that one, that's SUCH a blessing). Coffee! Mornings! AC!

grateful to be awake, sober and hoping for the best. i've had a little trouble with work circumstances lately (like the last 6 months), but they are beyond my control...
i'll just put on my helmet and use the umbrella.
grateful for the life and chances I do have to be happy. I've come a long way baby.

Thanks Eternal-- I am definitely lucky for the friends I have! Out of all the things I lost from my drinking, I am so utterly grateful they are all sticking close to me. So excited to see Fiona!!

Today is my 31st birthday and I am grateful for making it here with 41 days of sobriety under my belt! I am grateful for all the love I have received... I am grateful again, for all the wonderful people in my life.
