Grateful, that when I got to the neighborhood pharmacy, though the pharmacist was closing up, and though he said "I'm not supposed to do this" he found a way to let me pick up and pay for my refill.

Grateful, that when I needed to buy some club soda, (which I drink with juice), ~and by far the closest place is my corner liquor store~ Grateful that I went in there and got some soda and chatted with the guy about the game on TV just like I used to. And had zero desire for alcohol.

Grateful that my neighbor called me back and said he can help me with transportation to the doctor the day after eye surgery,.since I won't be able to drive yet.

Grateful for my little town. And for helpful people everywhere.

Grateful for good weather while re-siding part of our garage and the shed I've been renovating. I can now look at my progress on these projects as 'one day at a time' rather than put all my effort into it one day and then give up on it for the next months or years...
Grateful for a nice meal and chat at a good restaurant this afternoon with no anxiety kicking in, walked right on through the bar area to get to the restrooms no thought of drinking.

Grateful for the difficult decision I made three weeks ago... Regardless of how emotional trying it was at the time and the regret I felt days after. I am grateful that I am able to find peace in that decision... I worried I had made the wrong one, and I realise now that I didn't.
