Grateful for new service opportunities over the weekend, and lots of time with my wife.

Grateful that I was elected secretary of the Consumer & Family Advisory Committee for our local mental health services management agency. It will feel good to be doing more volunteer-wise.

Also grateful for honest sharing both in my group program and with my individual therapist.

Evening Grats,

Grateful I have a lot of my cleaning done for my inspection tomorrow, but I do still have a few things left to do.

I want to wish everyone a peaceful night's sleep.

Grateful that when the crap hit the fan today there was someone there who knew exactly what I needed in order to move the mountain.

Thanks, AStro!! I just hope I can actually do the job.

Grateful for really young (really cute) really sharp therapist at the outpatient program I'm doing now.

Grateful for open-mindedness to re-consider my school plans and maybe lessen some of the stress I've mostly been putting on myself.

Even though my anxiety issues (social - driving) and bad-mood have been peaking again recently, I am grateful for a beautiful day, getting a bit more rest and my continued sobriety.

Evening everyone,

Having a hard time posting as my cat keeps jumping on my lap top. I guess she wants to play and is getting my attention:rotfxko

Today was my Housing Inspection cause I am on Section 8 and after 2 days of deep cleaning I got rave reviews. He actually told me I was a very clean housekeeper. Wow me I wanted to say "you should of seen my home when I was using, it should of been condemed".

So many miracles in recovery all I have to do is look for them.

Night Night & Sweet dreams.

Grateful the Valentine's gifts I gave brought some joy to family members. When I told my Mom, "Oh, sorry, I didn't get you a card yet," she took my hand and said "You Are my card, every day." Priceless!

Grateful I stopped by the Salvation Army's thrift store, bought a nice shirt and a pair of cargo shorts for $7. Felt good to take a break from running to and from hospitals\facilities and browse the stores and shops instead.
Pizza, watching basketball and walking the dog... Not all at once.

Good job Newby
