Hmmmm.........so I gather there were no fireworks (or even sparklers?)?

Grateful for:

1. 7:30am church service. Very peaceful and quiet.
2. My phone only ringing one time today, and that was from someone I really wanted to talk to.
3. Breakfast at my favorite place and the crispy bacon was really crispy.
4. The Descendants sound track - beautiful!
5. This restful, peaceful weekend. I didn't get much done but I did relax a lot and think about changes I want/need to make in my life.
6. The warm weather - tee-shirt weather in January!
7. Another good night of sleep. Hoping I'm turning the corner with that "wake up at 4am" stuff.
8. The morning walk around the lake with the little dog. There's a duck who is always sitting on her nest tucked away behind a tree near the water, and the dog always leaves her alone, like she knows what's going on
9. Sobriety feeling normal now.
10. God's love and care for all of us.

Hope everyone's had a good weekend

grateful for the successful trashbag tango, i've got one closet 1/2 done and my trunk packed.

Ozzy was just romping through the living room with my NEW toothbrush.

Well, never made it back last night - couldn't keep my eyes open!

Quick grats for:

1. The way the dogs ears slowly rise (at different rates ) when she's waiting for her breakfast.
2. Sleeping through the night again!!! Don't want to jinx it but this has me pretty jazzed...
3. The dishwasher. Maybe my favorite appliance.
4. A new day and new chances!
5. The rain. I'm going to be grateful for it and not let it affect my mood.

Yep, I'm missing HL and others too - hope things are going well with her move - also grateful for all of you here!

Hope you have a happy day everyone

Grateful that i can take the mundane days with the good days, the bad days and all those that fit in between...that's what makes up life.

Grateful for quiet and boring some days, it sure beats the stuffing out of stupid, useless, hurtful drama. I don't miss it, but i sure do remember it. i'll never understand why, but it is a useful lesson in avoiding certain people.

grateful for a little more daylight every week.

back later to finish.

hey Fands! and RZ, newby, HL, Reub and all

Well well well ... very interesting message situation Fands - you will definitely have to let us know about this one. No comb-overs!!!!

1. Grateful to be preparing to stick up for myself tomorrow (I'm rehearsing in my living room with the dog)
2. Grateful for the long weekend coming up
3. Grateful to be going out to tea this weekend - la di da!
4. Grateful the W-2 forms are here - refund here we come!
5. Grateful that the e-mails I was waiting for arrived. Better late than never.
6. Grateful Fandy's kitty cat is better, newby's growing relationship with her sis, and RZ, just grateful you're you!
7. Grateful for a great deal on getting my dog checked out at a specialty vet for possible arthritis. She hasn't wanted to jump up into the car recently and I wonder if it's her joints or hips - we'll see.
8. Grateful for a night of lying around watching tv.
9. Grateful for slack key Hawaiian guitar music!
10. Grateful for recovery and sobriety. Alcoholism kills. I prefer living and am very grateful to be alive.

Gnite friends

Hellooooooo Grat Pack!!!!

All went well and am extremely grateful that the weather held out and our travels were safe. Working on getting son enrolled in school, but found out we need a certified copy of his birth certificate and that could take some time since he was born in Illinois!!! Ah well he's grateful for the time off.

No furniture yet because the movers wanted time and half to unload on Saturday. We said we would wait until Monday then. We now have snow on the ground and its still coming down. Grateful for our futon and all the other things we brought and husband's mom brought over to make this time in between comfortable.

Grateful for a small tv that the previous owners left behind. Its helped us with the downtime.

Grateful to have read most of the grats since I was gone and really happy to see Newby posting here. Hope that continues. Love you all and thanks for missing me Fandy. Its nice to be missed and I certainly missed you all. xox

You are a riot! We, of course, brought our coffee maker. That's needed!! We do have ice cream in the freezer and my kitchen is fully equipped. We rented one of those uhaul trailers that pull behind the van and packed the kitchen in it as well as other things. We are having sushi tonight from Wegmans. I love Wegmans and I love sushi.

No, son does not have a passport. We will get it all done next week and I still hope they will let him start knowing its on the way. We are okay either way.

So good to "talk" with you again!!!
