morning Gratitude-Part 25
Morning Grats,
Thanks for the picture Scolova I am not much of a sausage lover but I love bacon. It always is easier to understand when you see it vs someone explaining it.
Grateful although it is raining it is fairly warm but there is tons of snow on both mountain passes.
The word for Tuesday is tsiganology (study of gypsies)

Grateful to be able to stop in to SR and read all the success stories.
Grateful for a wonderful Christmas with my family.
Grateful to be sober and able to do so many things a lot easier than when I was drinking.
Grateful to be winding down a terrific sober year and grateful to be looking forward to 2012.
Grateful for SR and all of you.
Happy New Year everyone!

grateful to see Least back with us! glad to hear she had a safe and happy trip with family.
i'm grateful that i am sober enough to make a very difficult decision today...my oldest cat is going downhill....(he's close to 18). i have to have a discussion with the vet when i bring 2 others in for their shots....i feel selfish but i have to make a decision that is best for him. (this has been an ongoing problem since October, now it's expanded to outside the litterbox). but it might be my fault because i closed the door to his box by mistake for an hour.
so i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt for now....(not the cat in my avi, that's Fandy who is 4)

Grateful for the day ahead and the new opportunities that will present them self.
Sending hugs Fandy, having a cat that is going downhill is very difficult.
Grateful to be having company over tonight for supper and great conversation... no alcohol will be present.
Grateful for my wonderful kids and hubby!

Grateful that Fandy is sober and sensible to do whatever is best for kitty.
Up early to take dk to work. But grateful that at least she's working. And so grateful that I'm up so early because I want to be, and not because I'm shaking lke a leaf from w/d.
Grateful for good coffee and a clean house. Grateful that the dogs are still sleeping on my bed, happy and content. Grateful I've got my computer and all my SR friends for company on this early morning. Grateful I got so much accomplished yesterday.

good morning Leastie.....i'm up too...getting a head start on the day...(i have exams at 10).
grateful that i got a solid 7.5 hours of sleep...my body needed it, my head too.
thanks everyone for your support about poor old Slim...i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt for now and taking blame for the litterbox error....I closed the door by mistake.
he is eating and using his box playing with theothers....so i'm grateful to not have that decision on my plate today...
grateful for new coffee flavors...the choc. raspberry truffle is a bit heavy but i can pretend it's dessert...since cheesecake is not on the New years menu....(yes, RZ, you're gonna get all my chocolate stash, don't even ask...just check the mail)
grateful for communications....civil conversation with LMF, plans with friends, more time off from work and hope for the New Year...(those last stubborn pounds, a new friend and more free time to spend on me and the homestead....sober)

lol - RZ = where do you find all those smileys? Enjoy the chocolate!
Fandy - glad Slim seems to be OK.
Grateful to have had another 365 sober days accumulated in 2011.
Grateful to be feeling centered.
Grateful to have enjoyed family and friends over this Christmas break.
Grateful for the possibilities contained in the approaching New Year.

Another early arising, even tho dk didn't have to work today. Grateful I can be up early with coffee while the dogs sleep on the bed. Grateful that I got the equipment and had the ambition to fix my fence yesterday so Snoodini can't get out anymore.
Grateful to be starting my third sober year. Grateful that brother is taking care of the messy business of getting mom's house ready for the flea-busters coming today. I did it three times last year and it was tiresome...
Grateful for the peace and quiet of the early morning when I can pretend I live here all by myself with only my dogs for company.

well said RZ....it was a challenging year....reflecting a lot the last few days....all the upheaval, mama dying, beating Mr. Fandy to death and burying his body (figurtively only). work accomplishrments...weight loss, coffee addiction, starting to live again.
the Grat-Pack carried me through the hard times and celebrated the happy ones. thank you all, i'm very grateful to have you with me every day! it sometimes meant the difference between staying sober and taking a ride to the liquor store....or the local Mciky D.
