Morning Grats,

What is a Kolache?

I am so grateful my dad gave me an amazing Christmas present early I needed it so so bad and now I can catch up on bills, get my hair cut and do some shopping. I may not be able to be home but he sure did bribe me well

Grateful that tonight is my church's Christmas service lots of singing and fellowship.

Have a fantastic Friday everyone.

Kolache is a sweet type of bread dough rolled and baked with a spread of either walnuts and raisins or poppyseed paste....(Diosh or Machosh spelled phonetically in hungarian)

Morning Grats,

Fandy you are so good at explaining things I seem to ask a lot of questions sometimes.

Not much going on this mourning. I think I may go check out the alkathon that started at 8am and goes till 8pm tomorrow night.

Have a rocken Christmas Eve day

Ain't life grand? grateful this morning for my spicy eggnog coffee...and that I left my 2 kolaches at my brother's house! ( i order them special from the church ladies)...to the best of my knowledge they are in his car or in his stomach and i still owe him $30. You snooze you lose...but they look better on him than me anyway.

grateful i have so many options in my life...being sober opens up many doors.

I still have Christmas lights blinking all over my windows I hate to take them down.

Have a mansuetude Monday (meekness; tameness; sweetness of temper)

Down here a 'pig-in-a-blanket' is called a kolache: a roll, baked with a sausage inside. Here's some I made on Christmas with Pillsbury biscuit dough and little smokies.

Grateful that resolutions are kept one day at a time and can be made at any time of the year.

Happy 2012, all!

Good morning gratters.

got up and out early today, drove around a bit and actually got up on the big-roads! (interstate) a few times. I'm still uneasy with other cars around me, (caged-in) feel like a nervous wreck driving at 45 to 50mph, but I'm grateful for the opportunity to try and regain the ability.
