Grateful to suspend my crazy mind long enough to watch a movie (Contagion), the whole movie in one sitting. Didn't like the movie very much, but it was nice not having my 'voice' ripping it (and me) apart every second of the film.

Snickerdoodles are cookies, peanut buttery, I think, maybe.

Grateful that things went well this morning with the new psychiatrist at the new agency. After going through four other agencies already this year, I'm really glad this one is working out well.

Also grateful for finally calling Social Security and checking on Legal Aid. I found a website with Do-It-Yourself divorce papers, so I'm working on TCB (taking care of business, you know). Next, I have to talk to B of A (ugh) about my wonderful underwater in-default mortgage. Can't wait...

Hasta manana, y'all!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful for reminders that I am a good person, despite my many mistakes. Grateful for things that help me believe in good things.

I am so grateful that I was at my home meeting tonight.

Because the gentelman that gave the lead was saved and got sober by Sister Ignatia.Just a awesome lead story. 51 years sober , can you imagine.

For those of you that dont know who Sister Ignatia is she gets left out a little by Bill W and Dr. Bob. but she was a nun in akron ohio, at St. Thomas and was responsible for admitting the first alcoholic in 1934 through the back doors. Because the hospital did not want drunks. By 1936 she had them coming in the the front door like everyone else. Also she is the person that started handing out sober coins for AA. Just a awesome woman. Even if you dont do AA I hightly recommend you read her story.

Anyway to another 24

Evening Grats,

Fandy you obviously have not read all my posts about my baking abilities or cooking in general cause trust me if you did you wouldn't be asking me to cook or bake anything?

Have a great night folks

Amen to that. I have had several of those reminders in the past couple of days and they have been so encouraging.

So very grateful for...
Nine Years
Clean Today!!

And for Eight Months Sober from my eating disorder, too!!

Yesterday was hard and I was so tired and sad and worn out from crying that I went to bed at 8:00 without posting here. Today, a totally different story. I went to yoga, helped a friend bake cookies, and visited another friend, then went out to coffee and an AA meeting with a third friend. Finally, I went over my Anorexics and Bulimics Anonymous 1st Step with my sponsor. What a way to celebrate and end the day!!

Grateful for tooth brushes.

Grateful for cute kiddos. I babysat my niece and nephews the other day. My three year old nephew was pretending to be my puppy and "buried" his "bone" in his living room...his "bone" was actually the tv remote and it got knocked far enough under the couch he couldn't get to it. I forgot to fish it out before leaving and his mom had to text me the next day to ask if I'd seen it.
