Grateful for my wife who distinguishes me from my disease and taking my girls to sit on Santa's lap...and going to bed sober and waking up tomorrow to remember it.

Grateful for everything in my life right now. Good and bad. Some people are never fortunate to have a life like mine even at it's worst.

Grateful for having gone to the Gym this morning, grateful for getting a new computer so I can get on the net and work on my sobriety, grateful for a good lunch I had with my mother and sister today, grateful for a sober day.

Grateful for our new 'grat brats'. Welcome to the Grat Pack!:ghug3

Tonight I'm grateful again at the winding down routine. Feeding the dogs starts the wind down and after that it's just making time until bedtime. Grateful for these dogs resting and digesting on my rug. Grateful that I'm sober to give them the best care.

Feels good, doesn't it, Sneezy?? And your latest avatar reminds me of my little (but not as little as he was) Spencer. He is the STRIPEDIEST kitty I've ever seen.

Grateful for volunteering TWICE today—once pulling weeds among the strawberry plants at the pediatric psych facility garden and then at the Consumer & Family Advisory Committee of our local mental health authority. It feels good to be involved.

And RIDICULOUSLY grateful that it's looking like I really may be able to move back into "my" house after having been gone two years since leaving my husband. I hope I'm not disappointed again because I really want to go "home."

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Evening Grats,

Welcome to the newest grats love to see new gratitude's.

Okay so IOQ and Sneezy when I was trying to hook up my DVD for the 20th time or so I got my TV all messed up so I called Comcast (cable provider) after they helped me get it back on they tried to help w/cable so you might want to call them.

If you still have the box there should be a diagram although it didn't help me it confused me more.

Basically you have a white, yellow,& red cord go to the back of your TV look for the holes with those colors plug in. Then go to back of DVD player do same. TV needs to be on CH-3. I have a newer TV so I had to use my remote to get the little box in the corner of TV to come on and set it on video 1.

See the mistake I kept making was I had the different color wires in Video 1 and 2 they have to be in a line up and down but on the picture on the box it came with it isn't that way not sure why?

Let me know if you guys figured it out or you need any help?

Heck maybe I can add that to my resume, which BTW good luck on new job OwlSong.

Hey SarahDoll good to see ya on here again, hope all is going well?

Time to make dinner..Peace ya all

PS wow that is great news eddie z

grateful for getting through another day with a full schedule. I managed, animals, work, sick animals(and cleaning up the mess), work, finances, paid bills and shopping..(online shopping)...I just did what needed to be done, no high drama, (a little bit of ranting and raving but only here, not in real life)...

i'm grateful for the kind words from my BFF who put a different spin on things for me. i'm certainly far from perfect, but i didn't screw up too badly...i now know what i shouldn't do when it comes to the dog...he doesn't know better, but i do.

most of all, i'm grateful that i didn't drink, even though i thought about it once, twice, or 20x. i know better about that too...i'd rather sleep and wake up sober.

good night gratties...coffee and waffles in the morning?

Thanks for DVD info Newby. Now you are a pro!

Grateful for your 12th Step experience, bro'...prayers out for this man and all those who support him. What a sad thing to happen to anyone, during the holiday season is even
worse. He is fortunate to have you in his corner.

Grateful I start work tomorrow, not today...it is raining buckets and i walk to work.
And, baby..it's cold out there.

Grateful when people like RZ are in the right place at the right time to offer help.

Grateful for a working computer, tho it's 'workings' are a mystery to me. Grateful for the dogs resting on the rug, waiting for supper. Grateful for a slow easy day.

Grateful for progress, sat down to eat in a restaurant for the first time in over 5 years, It was actually nice not fearing the walls would fall in on me for a change.
Grateful for people helping people.
