Even happily sober, I still resent that's it Monday!

But at least I don't have a hangover so there's something to be grateful for.

I am grateful for my depression, my anxiety, my addictive mind, my tendency to over-analyze and want everything to be perfect, my cynicism, my scars (physical and emotional), my tendency to overeat and the pain they have all caused me because they have made me a better and stronger person.

Today I am grateful that my 16-month old son finally decided to begin walking! I knew he would, despite the ped's worries. He is very intelligent but he is a cautious soul (unlike his mother! lol)

Today I am grateful that my nephew sent me a text message that alerted me to the fact the cat had knocked my phone into the trash bin. As i am collecting up for trash day, that is very good! I am also grateful it wasn't uncharged!

I'm grateful that today is counseling day.

It's always good to share my joys and sorrows with her as she's such an understanding soul.

(plus she loves animals like I do and she has her own horse!)
