morning Gratitude-Part 24
Morning Grats,
Grateful I am up early and contemplating going to Sunday service?
Grateful I had an undisturbed sleep even though I slept in the living room on a old broken down futon lol.
Grateful I am up and watching this show called Coronation St. its a Canadian show and I love how all of them talk. Although I really have to listen cause sometimess its really hard to understand them.
Sundays's word is sagittiform (shaped like an arrowhead)

Morning all
Grateful for a wonderful weekend with friends
Grateful for a job to go to and hoping there is less drama this week
Grateful for some good advice
Grateful for the fall leaves just beginning to turn
Grateful for my mom who has more courage than anyone I know
Grateful for my dad who always makes sure I know I'm loved
Grateful that I have so much to be grateful for

good morning Sneeze, RZ;
grateful for another sober morning, feeling well and having coffee, fruit. I never want to wake up with that awful sick hangover head-ache, hurling again....even toothpaste made me nauseated. I won't forget that either, it's important to remember what was and how far i've come

Grateful to wake up to a beautiful morning. Thanksgiving in Canada today.
Grateful that I am not the people who were over indulging last night at a neighborhood party. There is still a lot of garbage and bottles, etc that need to be cleaned up today. Still smoke from the pit fire going... and I think someone is outside drinking this morning. Either they are trying to get motivated for the day or just continuing on. Grateful this is not me. :-)
Grateful for all of you and SR.
Grateful for the beautiful Thanksgiving meal my Mom made yesterday with excellent, sober conversations with my family.
Grateful to be looking forward to day... got a lot planned.
Have a marvelous Monday!

Grateful that I can draw strength and support from others' success and failures. Grateful to give and get support. Grateful to be alive and sober and happy, despite being sick. Grateful that new beagle boy has an appt for his 'snipping' next week.

grateful that I no longer have to keep up appearances of functioning and living....I really AM.
grateful for a deep restful sleep, no nightmares, (no dreams i remember yet actually) and the morning routine is now breakfast and coffee....and no shakey hands either.

I'm grateful for a successful Day 1 and the upcoming Day 2. I LOVE this thread. I couldn't post last night, but I made my own mental gratitude list - what a moving experience! A very positive way to begin and end each day we've been given. Thanks!

good morning gratties;
SS congrats on your fresh start...we've all been there.
grateful for another sober morning. I will always consider these sober mornings like unwrapping a gift...no more surprises as it's the norm, but it's still a gift and I enjoy them every day.

Yes, Fandy, grateful for the gift we have been given... acceptance, second chances, healing, regaining physical and mental health, and all the great things that go along with recovery.
Grateful to be ready for the day; whatever comes my way -- I will be sober!
