morning Gratitude-Part 24
Morning Grats,
Grateful when I make a mistake on here it is brought to my attention in a very respectful manner
Grateful at 8:30AM I am picking up my friend and bringing him home to his dogs, boy are they gonna be elated.
Thursday's word is tenebrific (producing darkness)

Grateful for a beautiful morning, no rain, snow, or wind.. completed a quick jog around the neighborhood after I got the kids off to school. Now settling in for a productive day of work (started at 4:00 a.m). . . with a full pot of Camomile tea. Have a fabulous day everyone!
Way better than puking in a toilet waiting for the liquor store to open. :-)

good morning again...very grateful today to wake up and feel hopeful for the future.
Life is far from perfect, but it is much better and I am grateful for that little speck of hope.
i'm also very grateful for Newby's tip on the Emergen-C...no more coughing and sniffing today!

Grateful that the reason I am late checking in with the Morning grats is I have been running my kids around doing things they need to do and picking up craft supplies, for them to use their imagination. They have four days off this weekend -- the supplies will keep them busy!
Grateful for yet another day of beautiful Fall weather.
Grateful that I recognize how important the simple and free things in life are... like laughter, love, friendship, hanging out with family, board games, watching the sunrise/sunset, great conversations, cooking family dinners together, etc. You know what I mean!
Simplicity is something I continue to work really hard at; it has been a huge part of my recovery success. Loving it more and more each day!
Have a wonderful day everyone!

I'm grateful that Carol reminded me to include others in my food shopping...when i see things on sale that I don't/can't eat, i buy them anyway and include them in the box i take to the weekly food donations at WW...(it's called "Lose for Good", like the pound for pound ads..it's accepted at every county food bank).
grateful for such a beautiful Saturday morning with the promise of a warm sunny weekend!

this early morning a sad event made me so grateful for my life and sobriety
My neighbor's oldest son killed himself last night. His dad committed suicide a few weeks ago and now the son has followed in his dad's footsteps. It makes me so grateful that I no longer have the desire to kill myself as I used to feel so often. I am grateful for my sober life and the fact that I won't be leaving my kids with such a sad legacy as my neighbor's exhusband did to his two sons.
This morning I am grateful for my life and all its blessings. I am grateful to be alive.

Grateful for my job. Grateful that I found this site when I did, otherwise I might not have still the wonderful job I have today. Grateful that I woke up today, still breathing, still employed, still loved. Its going to be a beautiful sunday!

I am grateful that my sobriety has enabled me to spend a lot of time cleaning out bookcases, closets, drawers, move furniture around, etc the past week. I have so much more patience and sense now (ie throw out or sell!) when dealing with all the stuff that has been stuffed away over the years. And grateful that I can find peace and patience while living in the temporary mess created by this cleaning out process.
Have a good Sunday everyone. Hope your day is peaceful and restorative.
