Murphy's law went into effect this a.m....outlet for my blow dryer and flat iron went out (ladies, I know you understand...) My slip broke after i left the house for the bus. Grateful for my long sweater! Didn't take my umbrella...(it did rain)...(I did get wet)..somehow took the wrong bus. Got another...but had to walk eight blocks to my appointment in the rain. But oh, so beautiful...grateful for that. Arrived 5 minutes early..."something" told me to leave home earlier than usual...grateful for this too. Grateful for plan ummm E! No matter what happens, my HP always has my back. Grateful, so very grateful...all still is as it should.

Oh, no, IO - I can certainly identify with the broken slip issue!

Grateful for an early night.
My brain feels like mush today.
Grateful the forecast calls for about ten days straight without rain; helps my mushy brain.

Today, I'm grateful to have started early on a commitment. I usually wait till the last minute. I'm especially grateful to be able to connect with kids. I was present today in a way that I haven't been for quite a few weeks.

Mdeeting and luch both went well....brought home left overs...soooo dinner too was no problem..

The occasion was to treat Sharon who celebrates 17 AA years
we got all spiffed up...dined in an upscale resturant for a change..

Ran into J...he is an Elvis impersonater ...moved away...now back to re join my home group.
He actually favors Elvis....deep voice...longish dark dyed hair..tight pants and a tad plump..

AA has the most amazing fun people to hang with...
I'm so grateful to have this awesome adventure each day.

Grateful I went and did some volunteer gardening today (even though the volunteer coordinator backed into my car and busted the turn signal). I had been briefly once before and it took me two or three weeks to get back, but I'm glad I did.

Also grateful for a call from an Anorexics and Bulimics Anonymous phone meeting friend up in Mass. I love hearing from those people!

Still worn out from the travel this past weekend. Zzzz.....
