There isn't a day that passes, now that I am in recovery, that I am not grateful for the educational aspect of my addiction. For me, understanding how I personally have been affected by an inherited gene flaw, as well a lack in self control has been a great help in my determination to stay clean and sober. I am also VERY grateful for this site. I have not been able to make use of it to the fullest extent (due to busy schedule) but the limited time that I have spent on this site, I am assured that it will be a major help for me.
