Thank You God for sending me this way of keeping in balance
The Serenity Prayer
.God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

thanks again G, for helping me keep my mouth shut and not yell at my SIL.....she has her own version to deal with and I have mine. She has no concept of living alone and without daily support, she gives opinions on what she knows....and it's not my place to educate her or pass judgement.
and thank you for running down the battery on my phone before i opened my mouth and inserted my foot.
thank you for my old cat who was tolerant with me while i cleaned him up today....he doesn't want to groom himself and doesn't like me doing it either....but he held still while I trimmed his knotted long fur and clipped his claws. the idea came to me that if i run wet paper towels on him he might start cleaning his own feet????

yes, it's going to be 9AM on 9/11...we do remember. thanks G for taking them to you to keep safe from more harm...No one deserved to die that way, i take comfort from knowing that they are now with you.
i cannot believe that it has been 10 years...i will do my yearly ritual of lighting a candle to burn outside all day for the memory of my former brother in law. he was a good man, murdered at age 36.

Thank you God for the comfort that comes from remembering and honoring all the people lost in 9/11. Memorials don't take the pain away but coming together to share our feelings helps. Thank you for your love and care for the families, and your care for those who are gone.
