grateful that not having internet or cable service has enabled me to catch up on my reading, crossword puzzles, house chores and sleep....I went to bed at 10PM last night, out of sheer boredom.

Grateful I put my old hiking boots on and spent 3 hours climbing up and down the hills outside of town. I'm tired and it is such a good tiredness compared to that brought on by the booze. 100 daze sober today and I've never felt better.

Morning Grats,

Grateful I am up to play mind bender on radio

What historical figure has played on more movies since his death?

So give me some guesses and I'll be back to let you know the answer

First, this morning I'm grateful for Frances' note. Thanks for thinking of me Frances.

I'm grateful that I am sleeping well, less afraid, and pretty relaxed.

I'm grateful for the ability to spend all day yesterday (and perhaps today) alone in my home with my dog--quilting. Why would anyone rather be hungover?

Grateful that today is my last day of work before vacation. I am taking the whole month of September off. Will be doing some traveling and then some stay at home time. I have been looking forward to this for so long and almost can't believe that it is finally here!

Ah, Newby, the suspense is killing me, but I'll be patient.

Grateful for a fairly early start on the day.
Grateful there's only a few days left to the three day holiday weekend (I can't wait for three days of absolutely no schedule)
Grateful I have developed perserverence.

Lyddie - enjoy your vacation - sounds wonderful.

Have a good one, all...

Morning Grats,

So sorry WW I thought I posted the answer and I did but on the Whiners Forum. Anyway the answer is Napoleon.

So I have another one for all of you. Apparently this is supposed to curb the tears when you are cutting onions, what is it?

Have a wacky Wednesday all

Grateful to be able to wake up so playful in the mornings

grateful to wake up feeling GOOD and mentally positive. I feel happy to meet the day, not "laying in bed, full of dread".

Grateful my feet don't feel as bruised and blistered as they did yesterday following my hike from heck. Exercise is a great way to remember forgotten body parts.
