Ur worst day sober is better thn ur best day using

Today im gratful to be alive and sober... god has given me a second chance at life and im so gratful for that!!! as long as we stay gratful everyday we will not pick up that drink or drug..... i just want to let everyone know it is possible to stay abstinant from all mood altering chemicals.... im a perfect example... if u have the erge to use... just dont use.. just for that day, and when u make it through that day u become stronger.... and ull have a new graditude for life... so stay gratful and spead the new found happiness to help the next recovering addict!!! thank you aa!!!

I love reading people's posts who are fairly new to SR and they are amped about their new found sobriety.
