Truly grateful that I can visit my Dad today and celebrate Father's Day.
Grateful that I helped my kids purchase and make gifts for their Dad.
Grateful we will be having a family day today.
Grateful that even though the weather is overcast and rain is in the forecast for today, it doesn't dampen my spirit. It will be a great day, because, I feel great, no desire to drink and spending the day with loved ones and great food.

morning all just woke up for midnite shift im grateful to be alive and sober today im grateful im grateful to get some chores done today and to get some sleep also grateful to have a wife that understands i get cranky when im on midnites and doesnt nag me imalso grtaeful for this web site so ican share these feelings and thoughts thanks god

Grateful that today I am hoping to solve a problem that's been on my mind a lot.
Grateful for my dad who was so pleased with his Father's Day party, nothing special, just family gathered, good food, and lots of hugging and storytelling.

Grateful to be here this morning! Grateful for a nice Father's Day gathering. Grateful Yang Jr. pestered us all day to go fishing, we finally went last night and had a blast 
. Grateful we can add fishing to the list of things we can do in the new 'hood. Grateful to be thinking about plans for the office. Right now I don't have a desk and it's so annoying 
, whoops, that should be in whiners. Grateful that only 2 rooms in the house now are major disaster areas, getting better every week. The office and the dining room are currently our storage pits ... working on the that though. Have a decent Monday everyone

SO grateful that when my little friend knocked me over giving me a huge hug good bye that I only got bad scrapes and didn't break my wrist or keister. WHEW.
Grateful husband took care of me and got gauze and wrap for me from the drugstore so I can keep it clean and protected.
Grateful for a lovely day with friends.
Grateful I THINK I GOT A GLIMPSE of what Turning It Over to God means....
Grateful for a HP message from a running buddy yesterday. I told her that I sometimes have issues with believing in myself. She said, "You are such a bright light. There's no reason for you to ever feel that way." <--mentioning in case this message is meant for some of you reading this too.
Grateful for spending a day with a family where kids can be kids and mess up and it's all OK. Grateful for seeing my own clearer-head means my fuse is longer and I can solve problems more easily and without getting frustrated.

Grateful to start Monday well rested, in a positive mood and ready to get some things accomplished.
Grateful to be volunteering at my child's field trip - swimming.
Grateful that I am not feeling self-conscious about putting my swimming suit on -- as I gain 20 pounds since I quit drinking. I said to myself, at least I am not drunk.
Grateful that I am financially going to take some serious action steps to get rid of the 20 lbs. Looking great in a dress for an upcoming wedding in July is one of my incentives.
Grateful to be looking forward to getting some exercise completed and not pigging out on junk food -- just for today (baby steps).

Good Monday Morning everyone!
Grateful to be able to be here to read everyone's Morning gratitudes before starting the work week. Grateful that I remembered to take out the trash this morning for the Monday garbage pickup. Grateful for the fresh blueberries that I am going to put in my peanut butter and honey breakfast sandwich.

Grateful that my daughter and granddaughters arrived safely last nite
Grateful that I was sober when they arrived and could truly appreciate how precious they all are to me
Grateful for their laughter this morning
Grateful that they love the three big dogs and the dogs love them...maybe too much?? (not a surprise because they are Goldens!)
Grateful that even with three hours sleep I feel wonderful and blessed today.
Wishing all of the Dad's a belated Happy Father's Day!

Grateful I finally understand "acceptance". I thought I "got it" but realized during Friday's chat meeting, that I didn't fully practice it. The most amazing part was, it was my "topic"!
Grateful for realizing everything happens for a reason.
Grateful I practiced acceptance in a difficult situation and felt so much better.
Grateful for being sober and improving my life everyday.
