I need a trumpet blast to celebrate my EXAMS are OVER...my med. students are FINISHED!!! (until July 5th anyway when my next bunch of coconuts begin)!!!
grateful the exam is finished and mailed away to the medical board powers that be....grateful for shorts...grateful I purchased fake-bake self-tanner, because my legs are glowing like a ghost....
grateful for humor and a good mood...part of the sobriety package deal!

Grateful that even though I'm a little late it's better than never
grateful for a warm, fine day
grateful for a weekend trip planned with the hubby and kids
grateful that the bad attitude of the not so friendly folks at the dr's office doesn't have to rub off on me
On a related note, I'm finding my innate positivism is coming out more and more as the sober days add up, replacing the bitterness that had taken hold. This totally rocks!

Grateful for a beautiful day
Grateful to be able to stay on my walking and healthy eating plan - lost 2 lbs this week - whoohoo!
Grateful for people who really listen and who offer to help.
Grateful for God's love and guidance and for not giving up on me ever.
And of course, grateful for sobriety - what a different life!

very grateful for that sober saturday morning feeling!
grateful for energy to cook early and relax later, and still have home made food available
grateful to be organized to rotate the food i have in the freezer by cooking and baking....not wasting by not remembering what I purchased. I did this last night and this morning...3 different dishes with ingredients i had already.
grateful for a Saturday with no responsibilities and work.

Grateful this morning that I don't feel the pull of beer/wine aisles anymore... I can just zip on by.
Grateful I haven't bought booze for myself in 14+ months. Grateful for zero hangovers and grateful for all the money saved.

I am so with you on this Reubena... for me it is 10 months -- isn't it wonderful. Thanks for the reminder.
