ain't it the truth Reubie???

grateful for a good sober sleep, getting up with the chickens and healing blisters on my heels.(grateful for Neosporin).

grateful for a cool morning breeze and having a real breakfast & vitamins instead of the old way of rolling stomach and a pill to get rid of a headache hangover.

grateful that I have another chance for an amazing day.....it's what i make out of it....less anger and more hope fershure!

Grateful to have had a wonderful day yesterday volunteering for my little girl's grade one field trip... bowling and picnic.

Grateful to be well rested this morning.

Grateful to be able to focus on the good things in the world -- most of the time, anyway.

Grateful to be looking forward today... I have a lot of work stuff planned and errands around town that need to be completed.

Grateful that my kids are having an excellent year at school - and I know my life change has contributed to their success. A sober Mom is a helpful Mom.

Grateful to life in a place where I can look out my back door and see deer and moose in the field.

Grateful that we are getting our basement finished

Have a great day everyone... I missed reading your grats while I was away.

Especially grateful for sobriety today. I went to my internist for a check-up and I've lost a significant amount of weight, I've cut down my antidepressant, I've successfully weaned myself off of a benzodiazepine, and my BP was low so I can now cut down that dose as well! Best of all, I look and feel healthy.

Wishing all a wonderful day...it's rainy here and I'm still in a good mood!

Mida - that's great news! I'm using it as inspiration...

Grateful for the early start, the leisurely hour spent on this board, and now it is time to begin the day with my refreshed perspective.

Have a good one, all......

Morning GP

Grateful this morning for the practice of gratitude. Some days, like today, I really have to stretch for it. But maybe days like this are when finding gratitude has the most meaning.

Grateful for my family and friends who support and love me, a decent job and a little home that I love, my dog, my health, sobriety. And morning coffee!

well said Sneezy! I see Ihave to get up pretty EARLY in the AM to converse with old RZ....and I opened my eyes at 5:20AM...

grateful to get the dog walked a mile in the cool fresh morning....grateful to have an excellent job to go to....even though I have not had a raise in 4 years....i have managed to increase my income, improve my house, improve standard of living, pay off debts and act like a human.

thanks to sobriety....indeed i felt like stretching for grats today...but in reality, the glass is quite full and i feel much better with "attitude of gratitude"

have a great day everyone, we are up and moving!

Morning!

Grateful to be honest with myself about making a choice and accepting the consequences without blaming others or shaming myself. (=Reduced Drama)

Grateful my little dog tested me, in his endlessly pushy herding-dog way, to see if TODAY is a COUCH day? Nope, same rule as yesterday and tomorrow. I love him.

Grateful I moved forward with a goal yesterday.

COFFEE, my house, indoor plumbing, a fenced yard, the Internet, food

Adding grats for the young woman who is babysitting my nieces while my sister goes back to work. (Sis's divorcing her husband, it's not a pretty situation.)

Grats for this creative kid-loving young woman and prayers for her.
Grats for my sis' job.

Grateful that the Morning Gratitude thread is still here waiting for me to return when I haven't made the time recently to practice gratitude. Lots of work stress and I know I should take the time to be grateful that I have a job but it's hard right now.

Grateful to have worked on gathering tools needed to help in recovery and difficult times

Grateful for food, family, love, shelter, and being sober.

Grateful for realizing when I can't solve problems to hand them over to my HP.

Grateful for the strength to practice that lesson.

Grateful for the strength I gain from the wonderful people here at SR.

I can't believe I've never posted on this thread.

I'm just grateful to be sober. As long as I am sober I have a shot at being of some earthly use to people who don't own stock in Seagrams.
