Thanks, BTSO....great suggestion and I'm finding that starting the day with positive thoughts makes my day go better, as well.

Hello, everyone...

Grateful it is Saturday and that I'm having my coffee on the backyard picnic table, along with J. and the lopidor labrador and the chickadees, robins, and squirrels.

Grateful for the beautiful gardens all around me.

Having a feeling of happiness envisioning and planning the rooftop deck that will go over my soon to be refurbished flat-roofed office, and always marvel at how one project turns into another, but that has been my experience being a home owner.

Grateful to own a home; used to tell myself it would never happen for me back in the day. Probably would have been true if I kept drinking.

So, have a great day, everyone.....

to back....that is really interesting...thanks!

Looking forward to having my new Flag attached to the pole..back on the porch all bright...sassy and fresh.
Grateful an AA friend knows how to do this..I can't read the instructions.
We can also catch up on the latest news over Ice cream and cookies.

Grateful to have earth angels watching over me....

It's going to be another blessed day in my world....hope yours will be too......

i am very grateful today to have another good morning....feel good, no depression and looking forward to accomplishing tasks...(housework is blah, but I do feel better once I get it done).

grateful for sticking to the WW program and actually enjoying the fact that I can eat this way and enjoy it....grateful for those e-tools they have, they give me hope and i am just so obsessive, all the charts and graphs make me feel successful.

grateful to have a list to complete and an appt. for a mani-pedi as my reward....not a glass of wine.

BTSO, I've also started avoiding morning toxicity in the form of news and other negative influences. Quiet is King!

Grateful for a day to slow down, clean up and set a course for the coming week.

SO grateful for having gotten through my first Friday without alcohol or drugs!
I did it alone, too, as my boyfriend (soon to be ex, i'm afraid) botched up our plans by getting drunk.
Here's to Day six starting out sober.

grateful for a beautiful, sunny sober sunday! much has been accomplished before 9AM (including cleaning a cabinet with mouse turds, ick ick)...these are things i never would deal with while drinking.

grateful for kicking depression to the back of my head.

Grateful that I got through a wedding celebration, reception, and dance without a desire to drink when everyone around me was.

Grateful to wake up feeling wonderful and getting stuff done that needs to get done.

Grateful for getting through the days, even when obstacles appear.

Grateful to be very busy lately... busy is good for me, keep my mind on track.

Have a fabulous Sunday.
