Grateful for another nice night with family, and grateful they enjoy my cooking so much, because sometimes I feel it is all i have to offer in leu of rent or cash for groceries

Grateful for HP giving me another beautiful day with a roof over my head, food in my tummy, and laughter in my life

Grateful to those who have gone through things before me, and taught me what I know today

Sorry I've missed a few days and for not even catching up before posting, but the last week in treatment was extremely chaotic and I just got home this morning after flying overnight and I AM BEAT!

But.....I am grateful that I decided to go ahead and come home, discharging against medical advice, in fact. I think I made the right choice, regardless of what the insurance company or the treatment team thinks.

I am also grateful that I got to hang out and beat a good old friend at Scrabble, not once, but twice, this afternoon. I need to make sure I keep up my social life better now that I'm back, so I don't get depressed again.

Nighty night, y'all!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful for a few minutes of wind-down times with the dogs before hitting the sack.

Grateful for the opportunity to speak today with the co-founder and CFO of the company I work for who was kind enough to step into my office and ask how things were going in the technical publications department. Thankful that she listened.

Grateful for a third night in the row of cool temps. Great for dog walking!

Grateful for another night sober. Please, HP, don't let me take it for granted.

'nite all.

Thanks, Sneezy!

Grateful for a lot of things tonight, as I read these grats...

Grateful AG remembered some sage advice from another SR member.
Grateful for other pet lovers on this thread that prove what a wondeful experience the trust of a pet can bring to our lives.
Grateful to the power contained in posting grats and to share their hope through recognizing the daily gifts we receive in life. I want everyone to know how grateful I am for their help in turning my negative thoughts into positive ones through the simple act of posting grats.

RZ - there is much to be said for the two years of sobriety before that poor woman succumbed to liver disease. I am grateful to know my brother had seven years sobriety before he passed, and it is a great comfort to me.

Eddie - welcome home; grateful you had a safe trip back.

And thank you, Carol for all the work you do here and for posting the daily reflections/step forums - I now read them first before I go to the newspaper.

Have a good one, all....

Grateful for sobriety, and that I stopped in time. Grateful for all the love in my life, because of sobriety and a changed life, I traded pitying love for happy love.
