IWBWI, thanks again! I hope you don't think I'm taking offense at your post, because I'm not, but some of these welcomes without the welcome BACK are funny to me because I actually started this thread five or six years ago. My character defect of pride still won't let me not say something about that. I'm not perfect...yet. teehee. ; )

Grateful for Amber, the overnight nurse here, taking care of me and for just talking to me, showing an interest and concern.

And grateful for a golden day here in Reno. I prolly won't get out in the sunshine much, but it's still great to see G.O.D. (Great OutDoors) through the big windows!!

Have a lovely Tuesday, all!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful for plenty of time today to get everything done that needed to be done. Grateful I've kept up a really consistent exercise routine for the past several weeks -- I can feel the conditioning in my heart, lungs and legs. Grateful for SR and all I have learned here. Good night everyone!

Thanks again, IO! And...you're welcome, Beth and LaFemme ; ) !!

Grateful for receiving a great deal of clarity from the nutritionist here. I had really been confused about my food (this is an eating disorder treatment facility) and I definitely needed clarification. PLUS, I got a HUG from her as well. FAB!!

Also grateful for some time outside, NOT just looking at the gorgeous day through the windows, and listening to the birdies here on JJ Audubon's birthday. I think I heard some goldfinches like we have at home today. Very sweet!

Lovve, hugs, and g'night,
Eddie

RZ...man you didn't tell me they were giving away cars to people in AA...
Seriously..that was quite a nice gesture.
Grateful for a good laugh on a post tonight..I love laughing..we see enough sad..it is always good to be able to lighten up a little!
Grateful that I had a huge box of corn meal in the pantry. I am at war with the ants..not sure why but they are all in a clump on my sidewalk..swarms of them. Well they don't fly but if I don't get on top of this they may grow wings..I read that they LOVE cornmeal and it isn't poison to the neighbor dog that cr@ps in my yard daily..I was tempted to get poison but really..it is the owners of that dog that I should be making eat the corn meal. ANYWAY they eat the cornmeal..then it blows them up because they can't digest it.
LaFemme..latest update on the woodpeckers..My friend Kim is going thru them pecking out a hole for nesting ..on the upper part of his house by the roof. He came home yesterday and they pecked all the way to his insulation..it was all over his deck!! I think he is now building a nest box for them...supposedly if you tack that on over the hole they will use the box instead..will report back on if it works for him. He is almost insane at this point.
Night everyone!!!

Grateful that my heart is pounding with fear for a loved one in crisis but I'm feeling it sober.

Grateful that I will make choices tomorrow to help her in ways that hold my self-care boundaries.

G'night Grateful Ones.

Prayers going out for your friend, Frances

Glad you're thinking about boundaries too - so easy to overlook when we want to help.

RZ, that really was a great thing to do (giving jalopy to friend) - I know he was thrilled!!!
