Hey RZ....condolences for your friends Mom

Grateful for all the men and women who serve our country especially in the military...just found out today that one of my friends is going to Afghanistan in a month....his job is to blow up IEDs...he's like the guy in Hurt Locker except he thought that movie was dumb....please add John to your prayers if you pray....thanks!

Grateful that we got good press for our big deal that closed last week...it made my Dad happy.

Grateful none of the crazy drivers killed me and the dogs on our run!

Grateful for a good day. Nitey nite all!

Grateful for the link to the soldiers..thanks LaFemme! What a great idea.
Grateful for the buds on my aspen trees. Just as I suspected...SPRING WILL BE HERE SOON!!!! Yay.
Grateful for the neighbors bad @ssed outside cat that chased this other neighbors cat out of my yard. The BA Cat seems to think that my strawberries patch is his dumping ground. Any ideas on what I can do to keep him out will be appreciated..this is the 3rd year I have put up with it. And yeah..I talked to the owner of the BA Cat but apparently..they are not as bothered as I am..
Grateful for the 63 degree day today.
Night!!

Grateful for my husband and my kids. Grateful for a sunny day. Grateful that my dads visit is over. Today I asked god to take away all the resentment I feel for my father...and I feel lighter. So very thankful to be sober.

My pipes froze last night and they are still frozen. Instead of
driving myself nuts over that and the storm that is ongoing, I'm
grateful that I still have heat in this house. I am warm and sober
another day. I do not crave alcohol today. I am so grateful!

Grateful for a peaceful sober day. I'm grateful for my new 'normal'. Grateful for all the little things I did today that I couldn't have done if I'd been drinking: walked the dogs, drove my mother home from the cafe, taken a shower, did laundry... all the normal things I used to not do because of being drunk or sick. I'm so grateful that's no longer the norm.

And always grateful for gratitude.

Sending good thoughts newbie!

Grateful for dinner with my godson and his family...despite the fact that his grand dad had too much to drink and made everyone a little uncomfortable....luckily he went home after dinner and I had a nice visit.

Gratwful I wasn't the one making everyone uncomfortable

I am thinking of you Newbie!!!

Prayers for my daughter in Wisconsin. She is a PE teacher and works with the disabled kids as well (adaptive) and they have the threat of their union being removed. Massive pay cuts if that happens. Seems bass ackwards to me! They are doing it to all the State employees as well. Only ones exempt from it are the Police and Firemen. The Police and Firemen showed up in support for their protest in Madison today.

Grateful that Nanzilla has a move out date Always nice to have things somewhat on the way to being resolved.

Grateful for another nice spring like day. Snow coming this weekend..I don't know how the new buds will know what season it is.

Night all.

I am grateful that when I wake up in the middle of the night, like now, I have a computer to keep me company and just the sight of the dogs sleeping on my bed makes me happy. I'm grateful I live in a decent house in a nice neighborhood. I'm grateful that my early am awakening was not due to waking up in withdrawals desperate for a drink. I'm grateful for Jack's good company up in my den. I'm grateful that it's not freezing cold outside so that the early morning dog-potty isn't unpleasant.

I'm grateful for friends on this sober journey. I'm grateful to have SR to call my 'home within a home'. What a difference it makes having this place to come to.

Grateful that my emotions seem to be settling down from the other day.

My pipes are STILL frozen, but I gathered courage and went to my brand new neighbors next door and explained what was going on and asked if
I could use their shower. They barely spoke english, but after some
hand signals and talking back and forth they were very gracious and let
me use the shower. I am so grateful that I asked and they were so nice.
(It wasn't easy, but I had to go to work.) SSSOOO grateful for that shower.

Grateful I can do all kinds of things sober....now gotta figure out a real
nice house warming, welcome to the neighborhood present for them!

On Edit: Love your post Least! Grateful to you!
