Grateful that lunches are all ready and kids are getting ready for school.

Grateful for tea and ice water

Grateful I have the money saved to cover my car's service today without feeling the pinch, thanks to being able to manage my resources much better now that I'm no longer drinking.

Grateful to review my journal last night and see that I'm still working on many of my resolutions from January and have made progress on the majority. I credit SR & the gratitude threads especially for keeping my head in the right place.

Today I am grateful for:

A job with a wonderful supervisor who has patience with this technology challenged 57 year old, but appreciates the 35 years of professional work experience I do possess.

My husband who just read The Noticer and took it to heart (a great surprise).

My church, book-club, FB, work and all friends who make each day delightful.

My Fed and State tax refunds that came very quickly!

Most of all, my continued recovery. Springtime in GA is more beautiful than ever now that I can see clearly and enjoy reality.

Grateful for Mochas and "Jean Fridays" Grateful to goofy students all wound up for the weekend. Grateful that they could go outside for recess. Many days it has been too cold. Once again at a balmy 7 degrees. Grateful to SR chat room. It make me giggle last night.

Good morning GP,

Grateful to enjoy the serenity of the morning. I used to hate mornings but now I cherish them.

Grateful to wake up sober and happy for the 452nd day in a row. Grateful to wake up looking forward to the day and not dreading it. Grateful that sobriety has brought me peace of mind and happiness I didn't know I had. Grateful for the dogs' company in my den while I drink my coffee. Grateful that the flooding in the area hasn't affected me at all. And last but not least, grateful to share your grats.

good morning...it is important for me to visit this area each morning.

grateful that i have lots to do, no time to feel self-pity or depression.

grateful that the weather channel is WRONG....they say rain, but the sun is out? warmer today, it may hit 50....a vast improvement!

Morning Grats

Grateful like some already mentioned for quite mornings-I too used to hate them but now they are my favorite time of the day.

Grateful for watching Princess sitting ever so still looking out the sky-light in hopes of catching a glimpse of a bird

Have a Sexy Saturday

Grateful my dog, a rescue I adopted over two years ago, finally understands how to ask how to go outside when he needs to (he's always known he's supposed to "go" outside, but he relied on me taking him on very regimented walks in the past.. now he barks at me when he needs to go outside .. I like this better! And we still do daily walks too). Grateful that even though I have a cold I had the energy to make a nice breakfast today. Grateful for a very open weekend and the chance to take it easy while I'm sick!

Grateful to be focused and ready for the day... have a lot to do

Grateful that the recovery looks very promising for one of our family's best friend, he was taken to the hospital with heart concerns last night.

Grateful that I picked up a variety of different juices to add some spice to my day.

Grateful to have ate a good breakfast with the family this morning - a vegetable stir fry.

Grateful that my kids are willing and able to help with housework today

Grateful to be sober and moving forward with simplifying and de-stressing my life.

Grateful for SR and all of you and your grateful derrieres!

Newby....in a previous house I lived in, I didn't realise until after I bought it that there was an active drug trade happening on the street. The day I came home and saw the state cops and the DEA surrounding the main drug house with guns drawn and people lying on the ground getting handcuffed, I cheered! So yay for that!

Grateful to have a house in a quiet area now, with no chirping pagers and 3 am activity on the street outside my house.
