Today I am grateful it is Friday. Grateful that P wasn't too sick yesterday after eating a half a bag of PRUNES. Grateful that she seems fine today. Poor thing. I forgot and left the pantry door open before leaving yday and found the mauled bag on the dining room floor. Last time she did this she ate a half bag of protein powder... ay yay yay. Need to put that on my (long) morning checklist: shut pantry door.

Today, I am grateful to have washed and cut up all the fresh vegetables and fruit in the fridge with my 6 year old so they are ready to eat. At the same time we had lunch -- yep, you guessed it, vegs and dip and fruit for desert.
Then I took her to her friend's birthday party at the pool.

Today I am grateful to understand that I have a problem and can't have a drink. I am grateful for acceptance and able to live a life sober -- because of acceptance I am content and a peace with my mind and the world around me.

Grateful for my crazy family, some sober roommates, alot of art and music in the works, and for 11 and half months sober. Grateful for a community of sober people that I get to be a part of, and grateful for a job, food in the fridge, and a place to live. Grateful for this website, and the person who posted this thread so I can remember the stuff I'm thankful for!
