Cloudy here, no big eclipse expedition for this amateur astronomer

Grateful for the wonders of the heavens, even when I have to close my eyes and imagine their beauty.

So grateful to be able to get two new frying pans and baking sheets as mine were ancient and no good. Now ck can cook to her heart's content. Grateful for those gift cards.... Grateful also that it was a bit warmer today, warm enough to walk the dogs twice!

Grateful for swimming today with my daughter - the first time I've ever taken her on my own. It may have been subzero outside, but the pool was warm!
Grateful for my calm emotions. I never thought I would feel like this.

Grateful to watch my dogs enjoying their beef bone. Grateful that being sober means I take such good care of them. Grateful that I get the most pleasure from making someone else happy, in this case, my dogs. Grateful that I've got the next three days 'off'! No kids to watch or take to work! Grateful for my new cookware!

sneeze recomended i bring this up from Blessings

    1. If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep ...

You are richer than 75% of this world.

    2. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish some place ...

You are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

    3. If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ...

You are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.

    4. If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment,

the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation...

You are ahead of 500 million people in the world.

    5. If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death ...

You are more blessed than three billion people in the world.

    6. If your parents are still alive and still married ...

You are very rare, even in the United States.

    7. If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful ...

You are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.

    8. If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder ...

You are blessed because you can offer healing touch.

    9. If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing that someone was thinking of you, and furthermore ...

You are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.

    10. Have a good day, count your blessings, and pass this along to remind everyone else how blessed we all are.

Grateful You are wished a Merry Christmas

    • I am grateful to the kind soul who did the sidewalks while I was at work. I have to be at work before the sun ever comes up and it had continued snowing. It appears I have a shovel elf! *note to self-do more to help others*
