I am grateful for this to Lyddie... doing things that once (will drinking) seemed like such a dreaded task. I find the more I clean and declutter the happier I am -- I love to be organized. I decluttered the house once and am going to do it again. First time, I wasn't as strict with decluttering... hard to get rid of so many things at once.

Grateful to be able to post my feelings and ramblings on SR.

Have a Fabulous Friday everyone!

I am so glad last night's little health scare wasn't near as bad as the time in happened last June. I am grateful to wake up happy and healthy. I am grateful that I am sober and responsible to watch my neighbor's dogs during the weekdays. It helps them a lot (no dog destruction from hours left alone) and they're great neighbors so it's a good way to thank them for being my neighbors. And it's fun having their dogs during the day.

Grateful that tomorrow night I am invited to my other neighbor's 65th anniversary party!! I will be happy to celebrate their wedding anniversary with them and their family and friends. I am so grateful for having such good neighbors.

-Grateful I didn't take some bait that was laid for me (in the real world, not on SR)
-Grateful for my train ride to/from work every day, and the time it gives me to read
-Grateful I remembered to bring more oatmeal to work
-Grateful to have plans to see friends this weekend, plus plenty of time to do some chores and spend some quality time with the family. Just enough plans, but shouldn't be too much
-Grateful I decided to bench Ronnie Brown last night on my fantasy football team

Lucky...are you riding metro north? I'm grateful for my train ride too:-)

Grateful least is ok after her health scare...yikes!

Grateful I decided to take a later train and took the dogs to the park this morning and got to talk to friends.

Grateful I now hang my coats in the closet when I come inside the house instead of dumping them wherever ....and that I don't have a pile of junk on my dining table anymore....who knew being neat was so easy...lol:-)

Lyddie... Clean screens are da bomb

Grateful to have returned a bunch of stuff to various stores already. Grateful to be in a decent mood. Grateful that I didn't let all the crazy drivers out there get my goat. Why is it important to go 20 mph over the speed limit on a curvy and narrow country road... with kids in the car??? Sheesh!

Grateful that I have enough things to keep me busy this weekend.

Grateful that although I burned through them, I still have enough savings to keep me afloat until I find employment.

Grateful that I have a loving and supportive girlfriend that understands my disease but stands firm on me maintaining my sobriety.

Grateful that I will get to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving dinner for the first time in 5 years, along with members of my church.

Grateful for everyone here at SR.
God bless you all.

Welcome to the grat pack, Catfisher!!

This early morning I'm grateful to wake up, for the 347th day, sober and happy!! Grateful for my dogs' smartness and ability to "think me awake" without making and noise or commotion at all.

Grateful just now for my "bug detectors" - my two cats staring intently at a bug on the floor... letting me know it's there so I can get rid of it. My critters are so helpful to me in so many ways...

Grateful that at my neighbor's anniversary party tonight I can say, with conviction, "no thanks" when offered wine.

Grateful for everything this early morning!!

Welcome Catfisher, hang around, you will love it here!

Always great to have an easy day RZ

Enjoy the event at your neighbors least.

And Lucky, I am always grateful for reading time, where ever it may be.

Grateful to wake up to a clean house - still some areas that need more decluttering done, but the house is clean.

Grateful to know that my kids have events planned for today and I will be in a wonderful mood and sober to enjoy them, with my hubby.

Grateful for making it to November 20, 2010... when at one time I didn't even want to go on.

Love to you all... and have a spectacular, sober Saturday everyone!

worth repeating....thanks itwill,

grateful to be here on November 20, 2010 too...i have felt the same way too many times, I always compare my depression to being trapped under a very heavy dark blanket unable to move it off of my head. I never want to feel that way again.

grateful for strong enough coffee to chase away my morning grumpiness

grateful for having much to do today....being busy and accomplishing household chores really does make me feel better.

grateful that I know I can function through the holidays....last year was terrible, I have the power to make this year much more pleasant for myself.

grateful that I am able to do so much to improve my life just by changing my mindset....

Nope- I'm in the Boston area so I take the T. I love the 25 minutes or so of reading each way.

Grateful for the rain. It's supposed to rain all day today and in dry, wildfire prone Southern California, rain is almost always a blessing.

Grateful for a fantastic conversation about art history at the dog park this morning.

Grateful for a really hard but beneficial session with my life coach this morning too.

Grateful that my daughter and her girlfriends finally called it a night and are sleeping after her birthday party. Grateful that they had a really fun time.
Grateful for Sunday with no commitments -- maybe some more decluttering, reading, watching a movie, teaching my 6 year old, and just hanging out to relax for the beginning of the week.

Have a super Sunday everyone!

Hope the Flea Season goes out with a bang, Rusty

Grateful this morning for my boys and the slapstick comedy that they provide to this house.
