Good morning everyone!
- I am grateful for day # 22
- I am grateful that the weatherman was wrong yet again, and that we aren't getting the sleet and freezing rain this morning that was predicted yesterday
- I am grateful that I'll head out this afternoon to head to my home town to be with my sisters
- I am grateful for SR, and will certainly be checking in while at sisters house, as she and other sister will be guzzling the wine. I'll be guzzling cider, coffee, tea....I have a big bag of my 'drinks' that I'll take with me instead of my usual bag of wines, rum, and other assorted booze.

good morning everyone, we are do well to be posting here and feeling grateful instead of the opposite.
I am very sore still and bruised, but they are minor (painful though)...so i am grateful that i have the opportunity to take it slower today and do things at my own pace....since I am not having company until nex week for dinner, the option is open.
so i am going with the modified version of finishing up for the holiday today....
i will start with some breakfast too...along with the coffee....back later to give grats for being able to walk the dog!

Grateful to be celebrating Christmas Eve in the comforts of my home with my family playing games, etc. Should be a day full of happy memories with no
empty bottles or hangovers to deal with in the morning.
Happy Christmas Eve for those who celebrate.

This morning I am grateful that I did no permanent damage to my brain and that it's back to normal functioning again. Grateful to wake up sober and happy and able to give my dogs a healthy breakfast. Grateful that ck is home safely. Grateful for a nice visit with my sister this holiday. Grateful for all the blessings of sober living.
Grateful that Luigi and Yang are feeling better today. Yin is now sick :-( but this bug seems to pass through quickly. Grateful that Senor Reub is off work today to help care for the sickies. Grateful to still be able to have some fun and make the most of it . Grateful for our washer and dryer that have been running constantly since yday morning.
Grateful for SR.... especially now during the holidays. The holidays are such triggers for us addicts. Grateful this site will be up and running for all the people that will be searching for help. Grateful I'm on Recovery Road this Christmas. Finding the joy in things besides wine is odd, but it's kinda fun.

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Grateful to see that Santa has arrived -- the kids will be very excited to see the cookies, milk, and carrots are gone.
- Grateful to feel very chipper, peaceful, sober and excited as I wait for the household to gradually wake up... should be another two hours.
- Grateful for the quite morning time to get my thoughts together and reflect on the progress I have made in 2010.
- Grateful for all of my friends on SR
I will echo all of these beautiful Christmas morning thoughts!
Merry Christmas Grat Pack and all of SR!!!!!
Very grateful for all of my blessings: home, family, friends, job, and especially God's love and care.
Peace on Earth, Good Will to All!

grateful to feel better this morning....less sore (ITwill... I tripped in my office on Wednesday....over my own feet clad in clumsey Uggs...landed on my thumb, boob and kissed the carpet...thankfully no one saw me ).
grateful to have enough time to pack up the car to travel later and remember what i need to bring!
i am grateful that i have not needed to have a mad rush this year.
I am very grateful that there is no High Drama this holiday, no emotional upset, unkind people in my life...one thing I have learned this year is that emotional upset is a huge trigger for me...i haven't figured out if i use this as an excuse, but i do know that it leads to feeling depressed...and i have better ways to spend my time.
grateful for having something to look forward to, both today and in the coming year....grateful that i have recovered my hope andself-worth.

i am very grateful to be sober.....i have wrapped presents, tidied the house, walked the dog, showered and given myself a facial...(no christmas saggy face today)....all i have to do is pack the car and braise the mushrooms and sauce for the prime rib...
and remember to pack my mother's coat...i keep repeating this so i don't forget.
if i wasn't sober i would still be laying around procrastinating.

Today, I'm grateful for my first sober Christmas in about 18 yrs! I'm truly amazed at how far I've come since Oct.
I'm just sooooooo happy to be a part of SR. You guys are my rock.
