... a lot

I am grateful for:

My daughter.
My health.
Having the best friend a man could ever wish for.
The people who have helped me on SR over the last three days.
My family.
My job and house.

Now I am gonna earn those things.

Keep the faith!

I am grateful for:

Having woken up sober on a Saturday morning for the first time in longer than I care to remember.
For the conversations I had with people on SR last night.

I am grateful for:

Having been sober for more than a week.
The steady improvement in my feeling of well-being as the week has gone on.
Starting back at work this week and still not drinking.
The good fortune to have found SR when I did.

I am grateful for:

My daughter singing me 'happy birthday, Daddy'.
Being sober on my birthday
The early steps I have taken in appreciating that recovery is so much more than abstinence.
Starting a little training today.

Feeling strong!

Excellent progress FL and happy belated birthday. And, yes hearing your daughter singing is priceless. Glad you are enjoying your journey to feeling free... it is SO worth it and it just keeps getting better and better.
