Grateful for a lovely sober day. Grateful for my addiction to not being addicted... if that makes any sense...

Least this makes PERFECT sense to me and that is why we are healing and enjoying the recovery process.

Grateful for today... busy, but good. Kids and myself went to the doctor all looks great... blood work in the morning.

Grateful that I was able to make afternoon appointments and not worry whether I would be able to drive or not... and I enjoyed not rushing to get home from the appointments to have a drink. -- just such a relief and a great feeling.

Grateful to lead the newcomers group last night, to be of service and to be reminded of what's it like to be new in the rooms.

Hey least, do you mean their furry winter coats (their own) or do you have actual coats that you put on them?

Maybe I should think about that for my girly!

Grateful for dogs everywhere!

Grateful that as the emotional healing phase of sobriety continues I am able to move forward easier and allows me to make positive choices and also enables me to experience joy and contentment.

I got up just after midnight to post the Daily Redings
in our Alcoholism 12 Step Support Forum.....
and stayed to share with many new members.

We are so darn fortunate to have SR...24/7
Grateful to be a part of this vital resource for healing.

Going back to bed.....feeling useful and serene
Good night everyone.....

I'm grateful that I was sober tonight when two of my sons phoned needing help. One had missed the last bus home from work and the other was stuck in snow. They both phoned after 11pm and I was able to go and pick them up and bring them home. I'm grateful to the two men who stopped to dig out my sons car and help him get it to a safe place, and I'm grateful for traffic lights being green just when I needed them to be.

Welcome to SR, Zuri!

Grateful for even the gray, cold days. Nice weather to stay in and decorate for Christmas.
