Bedtime Gratitude-Part 17
grateful at a step one meeting tonight,
i was catapulted back to my surrender to alcoholism.
yeah, i admitted i was powerless, yeah my life was way beyond unmanageable!
grateful i accepted all that, and way more!
i accepted my affliction of alcoholism,
and all the character traits, flaws, and foibles that come along for the ride with it!

I like it here.
I'm grateful to be here on SCR, not easdy I've had a few run ins, but it'sgood to be amongst friends.People who care and know the extent of my suffering under the lash of John Barley corn, the creativity of the avatars, the love and profoundity in the threadand the responses on the various Forums, all working together towards a common goal bound together by a common thread , it's good and I'm grateful. Grateful for being happy today. Yes, sometimes it happens for no reason!
Grateful to be sober to enjoy my life. Grateful that it allows me to see and hear clearly and to deal with life on life's terms. Grateful for the lives entrusted to me. Grateful for a kitchen full of groceries.
