Grateful for love: it doesn't make the world go round but it sure makes the ride worthwhile.

Grateful I was able to spend some time with an out-of-town friend. I miss her.

Grateful to have something to look forward to this weekend.

grateful at a step one meeting tonight,

i was catapulted back to my surrender to alcoholism.

yeah, i admitted i was powerless, yeah my life was way beyond unmanageable!

grateful i accepted all that, and way more!

i accepted my affliction of alcoholism,

and all the character traits, flaws, and foibles that come along for the ride with it!

Grateful for a sober night and for a cool teenage nephew that wanted to swing a few at the batting cages on a Friday night with his aunt.

grateful still...even if he was farting in my car

I like it here.

I'm grateful to be here on SCR, not easdy I've had a few run ins, but it'sgood to be amongst friends.People who care and know the extent of my suffering under the lash of John Barley corn, the creativity of the avatars, the love and profoundity in the threadand the responses on the various Forums, all working together towards a common goal bound together by a common thread , it's good and I'm grateful. Grateful for community service with my children, and I'm grateful my daughter feels OK after a little heatstroke.

Grateful for a nice afternoon in the sun with friends.

Grateful for small things, a neighbour´s smile, a cherry tree in my garden and a good cup of Italian coffee. Bella Italia...

I'm enjoying a cup of Starbuck's Verona, does that count as Italian coffee?

Grateful for 10 hours in bed and a heaping plate of protein!

You bet. If it´s Italian blend, then you´ve got Italian coffee, but to get the real deal, you mustn have espresso thick as syrup in downtown Rome.

Grateful for being happy today. Yes, sometimes it happens for no reason!

Grateful to be sober to enjoy my life. Grateful that it allows me to see and hear clearly and to deal with life on life's terms. Grateful for the lives entrusted to me. Grateful for a kitchen full of groceries.
