I'm VERY thankful
 

I'm very thankful that I never killed anyone driving drunk. There were so many times I drove my Jeep like a wild man, and barely able to keep it on the road. I travel this bad curve on a badder hill each day and I shudder when I think about all the times I almost lost it there. There were times I drove barely conscious and I did run off the road. But thank God I never wrecked into another vehicle or ran over anyone. Sometimes I think about how there are other people out there driving as screwed up as I was. That thought will turn ya into a defensive driver real quick.

Thank you God. Thank you for having mercy on all those poor folks going about their daily lives without a thought of what kind of insane menace just went past them in the other lane. They'll never know how close they came to death - but I do.

Thank you for having mercy on us. I'm so happy to not have to be doing that kind of crazy, selfish, dangerous stuff. Ain't sobriety grand?!!!
