I am Grateful for..........................

Having the toughest four months of my recovery and realising that I am responsible for putting myself in any situation, so am also responsible for keeping myself out the same situation.

My goodness, actions and consequenses. LOL.

What a gift.

Hi Carol and thanks for your welcome, I spent last night trawling through some threads on a random basis, there was some lovely stuff inamongst it.

One thread from a female full of despair, you know the way the mind cycles and it is so hard to break. Over a period of months, the cycle of addiction, the mind, the tricks, no matter what anyone says, it seems hopeless. Then nothing from her for months, BANG, she had been in recovery for 9 months and came back reading her posts whilst she was active. Was absolutely brilliant and inspiring to read.

Amazes me to read someones movement in recovery over two pages. puts a big smile on my face and reminds me. Hell, i could go back there if I get cocky.

Wonderful site, thanks for the effort and all the best.

Yeah, amazing innit, has only taken me 39 years to realise that stuff does not happen on a random basis. LOL.

A moment of brilliance from me. LOL

Today I am simply grateful for everything. It is great when perspective takes a huge shift. I am bewildered by it, and loving every mo.

Oh I am sure I shall manage to delude myself for another 20 or so, simply a moment of clarity. hee hee.

No seriously it is lovely when it comes together and everything seems more relaxed. Lovely feeling.

Today I am grateful for a peaceful mind that knows the difference between right and wrong. And better still, has a default of do the right thing.
