my first sponsor from seven years ago came into my head today,

grateful i picked up the phone (action) and gave a call...

grateful we had a good long talk...

i remember when i hit the rooms, even he was betting this guy wasn't going to make it...

ppfftt, grateful for the positive false-pride! lol,

and more grateful for the daily disipline of recovery he drummed into my head

I am lucky enough to be able to say good night to today with a tired body and calm mind.

Thank you.

I'm grateful that sobriety is a top priority in my life... right up there with my dogs... I think if my dogs could talk they'd express their gratitude for my being a sober mommy to them instead of a careless drunken one.

Astro, i'm older than you, I had the Dark Shadows books!!! (for a while they were showing the series on some obscure cable channel along with Twin Peaks too)....I was hoping a good juicy vampire story would hold my interest....they may be for kids but the guys sure do LOOK NICE!!!!! everyone likes to take their shirt off.

i used to like a silly unrealistic trashy read....while frying myself to toast in the sun...spraying "Sun-In" on my hair...(they STILL make that stuff)!

i'll have to look for something else to enjoy reading outside.

Ahh, did someone mention Twin Peaks? Loved it, still watch it now and again. Full of AA wisdom, by the way...

Loved that special agent from FBI.

Grateful for the end of a long day.

Grateful for spring in the air.

Lilya; that was Kyle McLaughlin...i KNOW he was grateful for PIE....he later played impotent husband of Charlotte in Sex and the City

I am grateful for my sobriety today,..i haven't been thinking about it too much, because I am so busy at work, i'm in the middle of a grading marathon....my back is doing some sort of spasm..so i am glad/grateful the day is pretty much over for me...i need to rest and put my feet up.

i'm looking forward to a good night's sleep and not getting disturbed by "action-cat" at 4AM.

Twin Peaks
Another great trip down memory lane... I'm grateful to be 'my age' and be able to remember all this crazy stuff. Television ain't what it used to be... I'm glad to have been part of some great television back then.

Grateful for this website because I discuss things on here that I can't discuss with the people in my life.

What a flippin' day.

Grateful I think I landed a job! It's temporary, but it'll help. Grateful for the roses I bought for myself. A dozen short stemmed for $7.50 and totally worth it!

Twin Peaks was awesome, haven't thought about that show in awhile.

Grateful that a friend has some work for me today. Busy + income = good day for me.
