Help in the aftermath.
On the 15th of Feb'2008 alone and unaided by human hand I had a ,'spiritual experience' it had such a profound effect my desire for alcohol was taken from me. However this by no means meant that I was mentally or physically well no,no,no I could manage to look after myself, eat, clean my modest flat, get my washing done and to my great surprise with the assistance of the bank orghanise my finances.
I mam however by no means the man I once was apart from the fact time has passed and the ageing factor kicks in, I'm now 63, I stay close to my Christian beliefs and Buddhist principle, the cornerstone of both being compassion.
I am very grateful to SR for the support it gives me, to share my experiences and read of others, to communicate with people like me and feel the genuine compassion that shines through from everyone involved no matter whast their role or stage of recovery, thank you, saleh Michael
