astro, keep the Grat, and maybe read A Christmas Carol to boss! lol

lil, i remember that tune, and we do a lou r tune in my rule62 band...

"Rock and Roll"

grateful i could make an amends to someone, even though my sponsor said, he wouldn't, nor did i have any cause to.

the guys a cronic jackass he said...

maybe so,

said to sponsor, it aint about right or wrong in this case,

i was right, just what came out of my mouth, had put the other on defense...

grateful i did my part, and will sleep well again tonight...

I remember being given a bottle of expensive booze
at our annual Christmas party.
Out of the 60 employees who drew names
I was the only one who got liquor....

Grateful the old me is gone....

Thank you everyone. I'm the one who should be grateful for the opportunity, and I truly am. To have daily contact with such a great group of people in recovery is an amazing gift.

I am also grateful for sharing my recovery with you.

A band called Rule 62! Good for you, Rusty and thanks for doing Lou Reedīs tune. Do you sometimes do some songs from The Doors?

Carol, your story about the bottle reminded me of something that happened to me in Turkey. I complained because of bugs in my hotel room and got a new room. They kept sending me bottles of wine for compensation and I kept sending them back with the explanation that I donīt drink. Finally, when the fifth bottle arrived plus a mini bar, I packed my things, checked out, returned the bottle and rushed out. And called my sponsor on the way to the airport.

Roadhouse Blues and Rule 62, I like your style, Rusty.

Grateful for the meeting tonight.

Grateful that the young, homeless girl at our meeting got a shelter for Christmas.

Grateful I could hug her.

Grateful for a wonderful salmon I had with my brother.

And grateful that the broadcasting station offered me 15 shows in January, so Iīll have more money, but a double deadline, the film book and the shows.

Hey and thanks, Richie, Carol (again and again), Believe, Lilya, and Astro!!

Snowed in here in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It's absolutely gorgeous! Grateful to finally see some snow at home. Now I have to go out and play in it!

Also grateful for knowing the life and works of Phil Ochs. He would have been 69 today if he had not hung himself back in 1976, ending a long battle with addiction and other mental illness. I am glad to have him as an example of what someone with some of the same problems I have can still accomplish and as a reminder of how I do NOT want to end up!!

Now, for the snow. Hope all are enjoying the weekend, with or without the frozen precipitation!!

Love and hugs,
Eddie Z.

We have snow as well, Eddie.

Grateful I could get most of my Christmas shopping done with my eleven-year-old.

Grateful for enjoying icecream (in the snow) outside the mall.

Grateful for watching a movie and having a pizza with her tonight.

Grateful for SR
