I am SO grateful
I am grateful for so many things!
I am grateful that I celebrated one year free from active addiction yesterday.
I am grateful that I have made it through my back surgery.
I am grateful that I am engaged to a wonderful man who is also in recovery and loves me unconditionally.
I am grateful that I am back in college and doing well.
I am grateful that addictive addiction did not destroy all of my brain cells and I am able to go back to school and succeed!
I am grateful for my two beautiful children.
I am grateful for my mother's unconditional love and that she is 66 and still a very healthy woman.
I am grateful for this site. I cannot sit for more than 1/2 hour until the bone growth is strong in my back (another 2-4 more months) so I cannot attend outside meetings. But I can come here and do something every day for my recovery.

I am grateful for posts like yours that make me think differently about humanity. Kindness. Tolerance. It makes me grateful to not have such a negative outlook on life. Thank you.
