My son graduated from his recovery program
Hello to all of my friends. I just wanted to drop by and let you all know that my son has recently graduated from his 3 month drug program. His counselor told me that he did an outstanding job, working to get clean, and to do whatever he had to do to get well. He participated in all the activities and lessons that were given to him. That's a big difference from the way he was,when he kept leaving treatment for the past 2 years.
He also decided to work helping other addicts, and the addicts that are new to treatment. He is doing well. I know better than to think he is cured, but I am pleased with what he is doing right now. Just for today, he is doing the right things. I am grateful, and thankful to GOD and to everyone who helped me through. Especially to all of you on SR. You have all given me great support, and guidance and I appreciate that so much.
So instead of posting my heartaches and worries, I thought I would post the good news.
