Grateful i can see the process of change brought about by principles instead of personalties at my Home Group last night. Grateful i had the chance to share the evening, and morning, with my girlfriend (a much needed peaceful time together). Surprisingly, i am even grateful that i can be of service at Area today.

Grateful for a beautiful day for my dog-rescue-lady friend's poker ride and fish fry to benefit her dog rescue. I hope she makes a lot of money for the doggies.:ghug3

Also grateful beyond words that she gave me my little diabetic dog two years ago. He has been a constant joy as well as a good reason to be sober.

Grateful i am still learning how the disease of addiction affects my thinking.
Grateful that i am spiritually committed to this new way of living life on Life's terms.
Grateful i have a choice of which 'voice' i will allow to guide me through my day.

Grateful to wake up sober and healthy. Grateful to have been living in a nice home in a great neighborhood for the last 20 years. Grateful to have 'enough' for a decent life, grateful that my needs are simple and my wants are few.
